Elisabeth F.M. Read Joins HLFT as an Associate Attorney
Elisabeth joins the firm after serving as an Active Duty Captain in the United States Air Force JAG Corps. During her most recent assignment as Special Victims’ Counsel, Elisabeth provided legal representation to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence at all stages of military investigations and court proceedings.
Elisabeth earned her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School in 2014, where she served as a Research Assistant for Professor Kristina Daugirdas and was an active contributor to the Michigan Journal of International Law. Following law school, Elisabeth served as Law Clerk to U.S. District Judge Laurie J. Michelson for the Eastern District of Michigan.
