Harrigan Leyh Wins Appeal Affirming Defeat of $27 Million Claim
On April 7, 2020, the Washington State Court of Appeals affirmed a $2.1 million judgment in favor of Whitepages, Inc. against one of its competitors. Spokeo, Inc. had sought $27 million in damages against Whitepages. After defeating Spokeo’s claims at a five-week jury trial, Tim Leyh, Tyler Farmer, Kristin Ballinger, and paralegal Kellie McDonald then secured the $2.1 million attorneys’ fees award against Spokeo.
